| There was a segment on one the shopping networks with Woodstock memorabilia. I just wondered-- Does anyone on mylot smile when you think of that? Any old hippies out there? I remember listening to the album when a friend got one. Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, The Butterfield Blues Band, Sly and the Family Stone, Arlo Guthrie, and so many others. Anyone have a favorite? Mine would be Jimi Hendrix and The Star Spangled Banner. Oh Wow! Anyone even know what I am talking about? Any thoughts on what you were doing the summer of 69 or just thoughts in general on this peaceful music festival? There was no violence during the entire 3 day event. Too bad we can't say that today. |
